There is no doubt that fashion will always be popular. Styles may vary, trends will come and go, and colours will fade in and out. However, one classic look that will never go out on style, no matter how much the times they are a-changin’, is femininity.
HOW TO STAY CLASSY, NOT TRENDY
As of lately, trends have been bold, edgy, and almost goth-like. Most apparel for women, handbags, and accessories or jewelry have embellishments such as skulls, studs, crosses, spikes, and brocade prints. Although such items sound harsh, it is possible to have them look feminine at the same time. If you want to keep the classic lady-like look, it is important not to mix too many embellishments together in one outfit. For example, if you have a handbag with studs and a pair of earrings with sparkly skulls, try to keep the outfit colours and styles neutral, therefore your accessories will be accent pieces that tie it all together. Too many skulls and studs will have you looking trendy, not classy.
HOW TO MAINTAIN PERSONAL STYLE WHILST LOOKING FEMININE
If you wish to look feminine yet still maintain unique personal style, there are a few rules you must follow. Looking lady-like does not mean you must always wear bows, frills, and pink (although they do look pretty). Sometimes too many feminine things will make you look like a little girl, so you must spread those items out and wear them subtly. Having feminine style also doesn’t mean that you always have to wear skirts, dresses, or silk items. You can wear pants, pair them with a pretty blouse, a pair of peep-toe bow pumps and minimal elegant accessories and you’re set. In order to keep your style unique, incorporate your own quirky pieces, like a cool nail colour; just remember not to go overboard.
WHY BEING A LADY NEVER GOES OUT OF STYLE
No matter where you are, any season, any country, any time, everyone appreciates a well-dressed lady. Not only will it make you feel confident and beautiful in your own skin, others will appreciate the polished look too. Even during times of war and economic depression, women could turn to manicures, getting their hair coiffed, a pretty dress or some red lipstick to add brightness to their days. A feminine look exudes an air of confidence and the power of a woman. Looking good will never go out of style, and a well dressed lady is always a sight for sore eyes.
