Contemporary Fashion for Men in Toronto
With Toronto becoming more and more of a fashion forward city every day, it becomes hard to decide where to shop to take your fashion game to the next level. Here in the city we have a unique variety fashion stores that offer their own twist on men’s contemporary fashion. In this article are 3 of the best contemporary fashion stores in Toronto.
Contraband
Serpentine
Another boutique located in Yorkville, Serpentine is
known for its dark and edgy themed store mainly composed of Blacks, whites and
browns. It first opened in 2009. They offer a variety of brands such as Rick
Owens, Amiri, Damir Doma and much more. As most of the merchandise is for men
they also carry items for women as well. What makes this store unique is the
merchandise they carry is what goes with the look of the store which makes
everything look well-coordinated. Prices range anywhere from as low as $75 to
$3000+. They also carry a large selection of unique accessories from small
independent designers that you won’t be able to find elsewhere. Similar to Contraband they have amazing sales
and even have their own warehouse sale at a separate location during clear out
sales seasons. When in Yorkville, take note and stop by this edgy upscale
boutique.
Haven
After
success with its first two stores in Edmonton and Vancouver, Haven decided to
open their third store in Toronto. It is located in Corktown which is far from
the other fashion stores which kind of puts them at a disadvantage since it is
out of the way. Keeping it as an open concept environment, Haven likes to offer
a wide variety of exclusive Japanese brands that are hard to find elsewhere.
Brands such as; Needles, Junya Watanabe, Sacai and much more. Most of the
garments they carry are things you can wear everyday like simple basics. Due to
the garments being made in Japan you can expect high price points for products.
A basic t-shirt can run anywhere from $50-$300+. They have sales regularly so it is easy to
snag these items at a below retail cost. They recently had a huge warehouse
sale on Queen St which had a 2-hour lineup. If you love Japanese clothing keep
an eye on Haven.
In
conclusion Toronto has a lot to offer in terms of fashion. If you are
interested in keeping up with the latest brands and fashion be sure to check
out these store. You will not be disappointed!
